Canary Islands Archipelago Boasts New Species Found
Just when you think we have seen it all, daily it seems we are always discovering things we have never seen before. With the technology increasing and the population growth, new explorers and ways to explore are pushing man into areas we have never ever been.
We get so used to the world around us and think that basically every region of the world has someone living in it. Well that is not the case. Plus there are so many unexplored regions of the world’s oceans that we could never begin to try and explore it all.
An expedition in the Canary Islands has shown this all to be true…
Basically they went beyond some surface explorations to find tons of new salt water species over 500 meters below the surface. Some light up the waters of deep just as if they were wired with LED lighting. The species have never been seen before which is very exciting to scientists and organizations who are trying to have these waters protected from any dangers the outside world may bring.
So you see, the next time you’re around in a heavily wooded area or maybe even scuba diving, when you see an animal, fish or insect, you may actually be seeing something undiscovered!
