Treasures and Islands

Myths or not, lots of people associate treasures with islands. There always seems to be some sort of movie out where someone is trying to find some sort of treasure on some remote island. On islands and literally everywhere, people have found buried treasure though. A man in Europe recently went out into an open field with his metal detector and found some old jewelry. There were like two pieces or so. It was his first time out with his metal detector. Turns out the jewels were very old, and worth a small fortune.

There are even professional treasure hunters out there that try and find sunken treasures near islands, in the ocean or even on land. The business of finding treasures and artifacts can be a really big one for sure.

For amateurs though the thought of finding treasure can be really fun. Back in the day people used to bury their valuables. There were no safety deposit boxes and so on. They hid their treasures. Imagine if someone hid some treasure, and say died on a trip. If nobody else knew where the treasure was, it would stay buried there -possibly forever.
